Peacefully at rest on Tuesday 18th July 2023 whilst in the very loving care of all the staff at Hempstalls Hall Care Home, Newcastle. Betty, aged 89 years, devoted wife of the late Eric, loving and much loved mum of Hazel and Neil, proud grandma of Tom, Olivia and Charlie, treasured mum-in-law to John and Denise, and a dear sister-in-law to Les and Jackie. Betty will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family, her many friends, especially amongst the Girl Guiding Community which played a big part in her life.
